Yes I am a Yo Yo Dieter -


Here I am wrapping up day 2 of another 50+ lbs weight loss goal. A goal I am certain I can reach simply because I have done it more than once in my lifetime. Yes I am several years older but I am not any wiser.


The first time I lost 80lbs I did so using Michael Thurmand 6 week body makeover. Did the body blueprinting and ate 6 small meals a day. Focused on lean proteins and that was a low carb type plan. I spent so much time grocery shopping, preparing meals, and ofcourse non stop eating. Yet it worked and off came 80lbs.


I remember the day I zipped up those size 8 jeans which it was a one day deal and I don't even think I ever wore them as I fell off the wagon. Yet it took me a very long time to gain that weight back and frankly to this day I have not put it all back.


Next round 60lbs. This time I didn't do the exact same thing meaning I allowed myself foods that were not on my previous plan. It worked. Off came 60 lbs.


I can lose it and I am confident I can lose it again - I am on day two of eating 6 small meals, tracking my food. I have had about two perfect days. The past two days have even been decent meaning I could tolerate what I was eating and didn't feel like I was missing anything.


I am excited about learning of this community (Spark People now officially closed) and interacting with others perhaps this time I will become enlightened and embrace the lifestyle change. At least that is the goal lose the weight and keep it off!
