Ending Week 6 - 2.9 lb Loss 16.8 lbs Total

Happy, Happy Happy! Down 16.8 total and feeling good about that!

I promised myself 6 weeks no matter what. Meaning that I wasn't going to waiver from my eating plan and I stuck to it. Goal #1 accomplished.

Next 6 Weeks - ROUND 2

Committed to eating healthy and incorporating more activity. I would like think that I will hit ONEDERLAND by the completion of the 6 weeks but that is 2lbs per week and perhaps unrealistic, yet that is my goal. Ending week 4 I purchased a Fitbit with a goal of 6,000 steps. In week 6 I managed to get 10,000 steps in every day and it has been challenging to do that. In general it was enlightening at how little I was moving throughout the day at my desk job. Additionally I think that moving more helped with this weeks 2.9lbs loss.

Strength Training with Weights - Met with a trainer at a new place this week. Still processing my thoughts around this. I was expecting a more customized approach given their platform. The owner of the facility is a woman and she looks "bulky" defined by me as overweight but in shape. The young lady she assigned to me is the young lady that trains her. I don't want "bulky" look. We did a brutal workout which I am beyond out of shape! Here I am 211.3 lbs skipping around feeling like a fool. She insisted that 10lbs was ok for me starting off and frankly it was two much I had to move down to 8 lbs. I was sore when I left there, but a good sore, today two days later I can barely move. I am not sure I will be able to get my 10,000 steps in today but I sure am going to try.

Any feedback on strength training appreciated :)

Mentally - I am determined and already noticing a big improvement with the weight I have lost. Looking forward to the next 6 weeks when it will actually be obvious I lost weight lol!

No matter what your goals are, if you hit or missed them this week - Keep moving forward stay the course it works if you work it!
